- Wipe the air cap.
- Use a different type of spray gun.
- Introduce time delays when atomizing.
- Soak the air cap in cleaning liquid when spraying stops.
- Adjust spraying distance and angle.
- Revise liquid paths.
- Prevent foreign matter from entering liquids.
Why does my paint sprayer tip keeps clogging?
If the material falls out of suspension you often will notice that the consistency of the material will change significantly during the course of spraying. At times the material will seem extremely light and at other times it’ll be heavy. This can create problems with your tip clogging.
Why is my paint sprayer spraying chunks?
Spray guns spit when air is being introduced into the fluid outside of at the air cap. A loose fluid nozzle does not properly seat in the tip of the spray gun and causes air to enter the fluid supply resulting in spitting.
