How do you unclog a kitchen sprayer?
Clean the nozzle: Use that cloth to scrub the nozzle’s holes. Let it sit for a few minutes or add some extra power and scrub with an old toothbrush. If the sprayer is still clogged or is visibly covered in hard water spots, consider letting it sit in the bowl of vinegar solution for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

To prevent the nozzle from becoming clogged in the future, always clear it of paint after each use by turning the can upside down and pressing the nozzle until the mist that comes out is clear.

If your paint gun is not spraying paint at all, it’s most likely due to a clog either in the air vent hole or the hose. Clean any dried paint with a toothpick, and use a cleaning solvent to clear any remaining gunk. If you’ve cleaned your paint gun and find that it still isn’t spraying, take a look at the air supply.

Often one can run some lacquer thinner through the pump for awhile and get out most of the old dried debris if the sprayer does not have too much in it. If your sprayer has a flexible intake tube, flex it, move it around while running the thinner through it to try to dislodge the dried material inside it.

Never leave it pressurised. But you can leave it overnight leaving the gun and intake tube in a bucket of water. Moving the airless a 3/4 inch cap nut fits the end of the intake tube and find those roller wet bags from d.d convenient to put over it so paint doesn’t go everywhere as I usually clean it at home.
Can you use paint thinner to clean spray gun?
Any automotive grade lacquer thinner will work fine for gun cleaning. “Paint thinner” from hardware stores etc are in most cases just mineral spirits.
